Gay Marriage
The Republicans have gained control of both houses of the Indiana General Assembly. This is a sad time for GLBT people because one of the very first things they will push through is a constituational amendment to ban same-sex marriage.
On the bright side, this is something that must pass two sessions of the General Assembly. This means that they must go through another election cycle and then pass it again before it will show up on the ballot for referendum.
The odds are against us. It would mean that the Democrats gain back control of one of the houses after the next election cycle, and then pull the same stunt they did during the last session by denying a hearing on the amendment.

marriage is about love and nothing else. It does not matter if this issue is legal or not what matters is the intentions behind the marriage. no should be told if they can get married only you make that decision.
