I love the Pansy Divison too. But I don’t know if I would put them on number one. What do you consider Indie? What about Dead Can Dance? Indie has always seem folkish for me. Keep up the good work

Pansy Division is number one for arbitrary reasons. The tunes are not ranked, but rather that is the order which they appear on the actual CD I compiled.

As far as defining indie music, I can see how you would say it is more of a folkish sound, but at the same time I think lo-fi music fits under that genre, too.

As far as Dead Can Dance is concerned, I admit that I don’t own any of their music. It is similar to how I have always been a fan of Bell & Sebastion, but did not buy any of their music until very recently.

Hey Matt…if you are into Indie music, you should check out “Gay Boyfriend” by Ryantown. It’s kind of annoying at first, but gets stuck in your head after a few listens!
