I’ve been in four flippin’ cities today!
My day started in Indianapolis, leaving at 10:10 AM on and airplane for Detroit. I sat at the airport in Detroit for a while and then took another jaunt over to Chicago’s Midway Airport. That’s where I caught the third leg of my trip, bringing me here to Minneapolis. All three flights were less than 1 hour in length. Go figure.
My hotel is right by the University of Minnesota, which is pretty cool. I’m sitting here writing this entry at a Starbucks, sitting outside next to some guys speaking a foreign language I don’t recognize, using some free wireless Internet connection belonging to another coffee shop. (This T-Mobile HotSpot shit is bananas.)
While sitting at the airports in Chicago and Detroit, I heard some pages over the intercom for a few interesting names.
- Stephen King (who was going to San Francisco)
- David Crockett
- Howard Johnston
That’s all for now. I don’t have much juice left in this battery and I should get some sleep so that I am alert in the morning for my first day of class.
Tschau!
