I always hate leaving San Francisco. I thought about defecting this time — you know, like a Russian scientist or some Cuban athlete. The weather, food, and the people are fabulous in that city.

I enjoyed hanging out with my friend Orme, as well as my buddy Steve, originally from Ohio. It is always good knowing people out in a place like San Francisco.

MAAWG was a good conference, but it was very receiver-centric. Would have been nice for there to be more ESP’s (Email Service Providers) in present, but attending the conference was a positive. We had some very productive meetings with some consultants and vendors, too.

I expect my next visit to San Francisco to be on my own time, not the company’s. Can’t wait.

I know what you mean, dude. I know what you mean. One week’s vacation, and I was ready to move back.
