What Are You Thinking?

This has made the rounds a lot, but I still find it funny.

Wallet Found! Yay!

I’m so happy to say that my wallet has been returned!

It ended up falling out of my pocket while at the Sarah Vowell and David Rackoff show a month ago. I didn’t find it when I went back inside the theatre because it was stuck between the bottom and the side of the seat.

The guys at the Circle Theatre took the time to track me down, and I really appreciate it.

My New Favorite Game: Desktop Tower Defense

This week I’ve been obsessing over this a new game I found called Desktop Tower Defense. It’s basically a strategy game where you build towers which shoot up bad guys traveling across the map.

Desktop Tower Defense

It’s pretty addictive! Post your scores if you happen to play.

For Sale

It’s going up on the market Monday, March 26.

Common Area / Sidewalk

After spending a weekend and several nights this past week, I’ve gotten my place close to good order to put it up on the market.

As far as where I’m moving, I’m staying in Indianapolis and will be returning to an apartment for the short-term, at least.

Let’s hope it sells!

They’re Back

I’m late to write about this, but I actually just found out. ACT UP and the newly formed Queer Justice League held a protest on Times Square this past Monday demanding the resignation of General Pace, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, for his stating his personal opinion that gays and lesbians are immoral.

This Past Week

This past week at work kind of sucked, so I ended up compensating for having long, rough days at the office by spending a lot of time drinking and socializing.

Thursday night, after sitting a good part of the evening babysitting a server, I met up with Greg for dinner and some drinks at the Metro on Massachusetts Avenue. He introduced me to a friend of his from work who spent a good part of the evening with us.

After work on Friday, I met up with Theena (my friend and massage therapist) for dinner up in Broad Ripple. We ate at H2O Sushi which was very good. I thought it was a bit pricey, honestly, but I enjoyed the food and would go there again.

After a good seafood dinner, Theena and I went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art. She happens to have a membership to the museum which allowed us to gain free access to the current featured exhibit by artist MarĂa Magdalena Campos-Pons. Of course, before we spent any time looking at art, we sat and listened to the live jazz music playing in the atrium. We had some drinks and really enjoyed ourselves.

To finish off the evening, Theena and I ended up at the Metro (two days in a row for me) and had a bit more to drink before calling it a night.

Tonight’s festivities were with Andy P. and his fiance, Laura. We met up at India Garden in downtown for a very yummy Indian dinner. (I had the chicken biryani. Mmm!) Afterwards, we went over to the chocolate shop on Monument Circle and then headed over to the Chatterbox on Massachusetts Avenue. We opted to not stay for the jazz, and called it a night.

My nephew Jake is a student at the medical magnet program at Crispus Attucks Middle School. He’s a trumpet player in the intermediate band, and they had a concert this past Thursday.

It really took me back to my days in school playing in the concert and marching bands. I had so much fun!

I took this on my way home from visiting the Eiteljorg Museum.

I was there with some friends to see the Warhol and Lichtenstein exhibit, in honor of Tony’s birthday.
